Favorite Fashion Pieces in 2022

2022 was fun year in Fashion for me, I was able to be more comfortable In my style and versatile, and try a lot of new things. Welcome to my first fashion blog with Ray’s Roux.

Fashion is apart of my roux, as it has been a large part of my expressions today, I am excited to share some things that I have loved in 2022

Fashion is meant to be fun, trying different styles never hurts….who cares!

#1 Hair beads

This is a new addiction that my hairstylist and I (shoutout to Makayla :) ) decided to add with my hairstyles, which created an easy, but harmless obsession!

Beads elevates any outfit adding character and class with a mixture of Neosoul vibes. Alexa, play me some Alicia Keys!

#2 cat-eye/mini sunglasses

I specifically love mini sunglasses because it adds character to your outfits. sometimes when I dress up, I like to create scenarios of where this outfit would best fit in an environment all over the world, cat eye sunglasses give of such rich energy UGH, I love it.

#3 MY BELOVED BERETS

The story of how I came to love berets is such a funny way because this is how I depict fashion, I simply imagined myself wearing one with an outfit, and once I wore it, I became obsessed. Fashion is meant to be fun, and not many rules. Never let anyone try to create “rules” on how you're supposed to layer certain clothes, or which colors you can wear in certain seasons…blah blah blah, they take the fun out of it. FASHION IS FUN!

#4 Non-prescriptive cute glasses

This again was another scenario where I imagined myself wearing glasses with an outfit and then became obsessed with mixing and matching them with different outfits. Glasses definitely elevates your style, adding to the different jewelry that I already have on.
